Why Wisdom?

The Word of God states that wisdom is more precious than rare jewels; its
acquisition above that. Nothing we desire can compare with its value. Gate 1

In a world that is chock-full of information, it is essential that every person is intentional in mining for wisdom from the right source, to stay the course towards a blessed and meaningful life of integrity.

Wisdom Calls Aloud (WCA) posts will offer advice and practical steps through which you can apply Biblical truths in your daily living.

As the Lord gives generously of His infinite wisdom to those who ask, according to James 1:5, we pray that you will be inspired to:

  • seek God for wisdom;
  • take every opportunity to apply these principles and walk in wisdom; and
  • step up and encourage others to be wise in their journey as well. (If you haven’t already, check out our previous post —  Steer Clear of this Vortex — concerning the importance of assisting others in this area.)

Stay tuned for the first WCA post later this week. May these posts stir your heart!

Wisdom Calls Aloud! Can you hear her?

“Wisdom calls aloud outside;
She raises her voice in the open squares.
She cries out in the chief concourses,
At the openings of the gates in the city
She speaks her words…
…whoever listens to me will dwell safely,
And will be secure, without fear of evil.”
(Proverbs 1:20-21, 33, NKJV)

Gate and people

Wisdom calls aloud at the gate. Will you stop to listen?
